Accommodation and Vacancies
Royal Bay Residential Home is situated near the seafront to the west of Bognor Regis in the Arun district of West Sussex. It is close to local shops, the Marine Park Gardens and the town centre. Historically, the building was a hotel for seaside tourists visiting the South Coast, before it became a care home under the previous owners. Acquired by Royal Bay Care Homes in 1999, the Home has gone on to become reputedly one of the finest care homes
in the area, providing the highest standards of quality care in warm, homely environment.
Accommodation is single occupancy, almost all of which are en-suite, with some rooms having their own showers/baths. The home has social areas, lounges and a dining ares for the residents to use whenever they please.
All meals are freshly prepared to have that home cooked taste, with the use of fresh produce whenever we can. The chef provides a regularly varied menu along with catering for special diets (diabetic, low fat etc.) The home also has excellent relations with local GP surgeries and hospitals who provide full support.
We will usually have upcoming residential vacancies for either long term care or short term respite care, please contact us
to discuss our availability and what we can do to help.
Respite care is a short-term stay in a care home, normally lasting around one to two weeks. Respite care can be planned or unplanned (in an emergency situation), please phone to check availability and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
Royal Bay Residential can provide respite care in beautiful Bognor Regis to give a full time carer a chance to have a holiday, or after an operation when an increased care level can’t be provided at home. Respite care can also be used to give an elderly person an idea of what life in a care home would be like, should they be deciding if living in a care home would be better than their current living arrangements.
Please contact us to discuss your Respite Care requirements or to book a visit.
Residents are allowed, wherever possible, to live their lives as independently as possible. They are encouraged to remain active as long as possible and participate in as many activities as they are able to manage, subject to their own limitations.
We welcome both long and short stay residents, including respite care, whether privately funded or assisted by Social Services. Any special dietary requirement is catered for.
The Home helps clients to lead their individual lifestyles whenever possible by encouraging existing and new interests and providing varied activities for those interested. Friends and family are welcomed at any time to spend time with their relative/s.
